St. Stephen’s College Delhi – A brief History: St. Stephen’s college is affiliated to the University of Delhi and is located in Delhi, India. St. Stephen’s is one of the oldest and most eminent colleges for science and arts in India. St. Stephen’s college – University of Delhi

St. Stephen’s Delhi was established in 1845 by the Reverend M. J. Jennings, the Chaplain of Delhi. The college was operated under the Delhi Mission of the society for the propagation of the gospel.

The college was initially premised in Chandni Chawk, Delhi and was affiliated to the University of Calcutta. It constituted of 3 professors and 5 boarders. Later, the college changed its affiliation to Punjab University and was moved to a new location, Kashmiri Gate in Delhi. Getting St stephen’s college admission is like having a dream come true.
